FREE tickets to the first TEDx conference in York are available to the public from today.
TEDx York will be hosted as part of Pilot Theatre’s Shift Happens programme this summer, and will look at using digital technology in education and the arts to bring people together.
Since 1984, licensed TED conferences across the globe have created a reputation for spreading ideas across multi-industry platforms, and this is the first time York has been given a licence to host.
The conference will be held at the Ron Cooke Hub at the University of York’s Heslington East development on Thursday, July 7, and will feature journalists, playwrights, and scientists from around the world.
Tickets are available from 10am today from texyork.com where the full line-up of speakers is also available.
