ORIENTAL flavour filled the streets of York to promote the Japanese festival at the National Railway Museum.
Drum and Ju Jitsu rolls by the Kaminari Taiko drummers and the York Town Ju-Jitsu Club entertained shoppers in preparation for the festival which starts on April 28.
It will also include Kimono dressing, origami, martial arts performances and music as part of a celebration marking the ten-year anniversary of the arrival of the bullet train.
