Wives, girlfriends and mothers must dread it when their men go off (usually on a Sunday morning) wondering if they will ever see their loved ones alive again.
Living on a tourist route up to Helmsley, the bikers go past our house every weekend at up to 100mph, even though there is a slow sign on the road approaching our house.
This does not seem to deter their speed. We do not know how they dare go at these speeds, if a deer may run out or a cat/dog or child. It’s scary. Every Sunday the ambulance flies past up towards Helmsley and we say “another motorbike”.
Please to all motorcyclists, slow down on rural roads and save your lives and those of others who are innocently involved.
