A NATURE trail will be developed on the outskirts of Church Fenton after it received funding from Northern Gas Networks.
The gas pipeline provider gave a £4,990 Northern Green Networks award to the Wildlife Habitat Protection Trust to develop and conserve wildlife habitats and create places where people can learn about and enjoy the natural environment.
The trust will use the grant to develop a haven for native flora, indigenous invertebrates and bird species, with a meadow that will be permanently open and used for community activities.
