A CAT called Sir Bobby Robson found itself way out of its league when it tackled a 30ft tree in Birch Close, Huntington, York.
Firefighters were contacted by RSPCA officers who were unable to coax the 18-month-old cat down.
The animal was eventually rescued using a ladder and saw.
It was then reunited, unharmed, with its football-mad owners.
