A MINOR collision on the main York to Hull road caused rush-hour traffic jams in York.
Two cars collided on the A1079 in the Dunnington area causing traffic to be diverted along Elvington Lane.
No-one was injured in the collision between the Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo, a police spokesman said.
The collision happened at about 8.35am yesterday.
The road was cleared by 9.15am.
