I WAS walking along Moor Lane, Acomb Park last week when along came a dustbin lorry heading towards the A1237.
Flying out of the back of the lorry were small pieces of rubbish littering the countryside. Earlier, I had seen a council lorry with an open cage on the back half full of plastic carrier bags blowing about inside but about to escape.
It is not surprising that our roads are strewn with litter.
