THE Mansion House will be opened up to the public for free on Wednesday in support of Hearing Dogs For The Deaf.
The Lord Mayor of York, Coun Sue Galloway, will open the state room between 11am and 3pm for tea, coffee and biscuits and to find out more about the charity.
Lucy Nalton, community fundraising manager for Hearing Dogs, said: “We were thrilled when the Lord Mayor kindly invited us to the open day at the Mansion House.
“We hope that lots of people will call in to see us and learn about our work and meet our hearing dogs and puppies.”
