A NUMBER of derelict sheds were deliberately set on fire in a series of incidents in York on Wednesday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said it was called to the disused sheds, in Haxby Road, York at just before 9pm.
Six sheds were damaged in the fires, over about 80 square metres, and a fire crew from York used two hose reel jets to combat the blaze.
The crew was later called back to the scene at about midnight, after more sheds were set alight.
