A TEENAGE cyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car this morning.
The 16-year-old girl, who has not been named, was involved in the collision with a grey Peugeot 307 in Philadelphia Terrace near to Albemarle Road, police said.
She was taken to hospital at around 8.30am with what are believed to be minor injuries, a spokesman for the ambulance service said. The Press understands the girl was a former pupil at Millthorpe School and is now believed to be a student at York College.
There have been no arrests in connection with the collision, police said.
