POLICE were called to the Towthorpe Road area of Haxby at about 1.30pm yesterday, after a man in his 40s was found dead in a house.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, but officers are investigating on behalf of the coroner.
North Yorkshire Police said they were not yet in a position to release the identity of the dead man.
