A MAJOR consultation to help shape the future of villages in part of North Yorkshire is set to take place.
Members of the Community Engagement Forum for Tadcaster and the surrounding villages will attend community events across the district to ask people what is important to them and how they would like to see their area develop in the future.
The Forum also gives a much stronger voice to local people about the issues that are important to them, their families and their communities, by giving people a chance to speak up about local concerns and take part in delivering solutions to local problems.
The forum is run by Selby District Council and supported by North Yorkshire County Council, North Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, Tadcaster Town Council and the area’s parish councils. The online survey is available at surveymonkey.com/s/tadsurvey or on the main Community Engagement Forum website your-community.org.uk.
