AN Emmerdale star took time out from filming to help launch a York fashion show.
Roxanne Ghawam-Shahidi who plays Leyla Harding in the soap helped to launch Sustain Me Too a fashion show promoting the idea of ethical and sustainable fashion organised by York Council for Voluntary Services.
The theme of the event was reusing, revamping and restyling discarded clothes and giving them “fast-fashion” fixes.
The event raised money for St Leonard’s Hospice.
