Yorkshire’s best bleaters have appeared on YouTube in the hope of becoming Christmas number one.
Gladys, Gertrude and Greta from goat dairy company St Helen’s Farm, at Seaton Ross, in East Yorkshire, appear singing carols for the public’s votes.
Angus Wielkopolski, founder of St Helen’s Farm, said its goats produce more milk when music is playing in the milking parlour, and at this time of year the goats bleat along to all the best Christmas songs.
He said: “It’s no secret that our goats love listening to a bit of music and this year we thought we’d share their talents with the world and find out which one has ‘goat’ what it takes to be our Christmas number one.”
Vote for Gladys’ rendition of Silent Night, Gertrude’s Oh Come All Ye Faithful or Greta’s version of Hark The Herald Angels Sing at sthelensfarm.co.uk/vote4goat.asp by December 19.
