Harewood House, between Harrogate and Leeds, was lit up in style for the launch of its first Christmas festival.
Three generations of the Lascelles family, including the Earl of Harewood, his son David, Viscount Lascelles, and Lord Harewood’s youngest granddaughter Tallulah, six, switched on the spectacular lights,.
The event culminated in a one-off state-of-the-art light show, using a three-dimensional projection on to the building’s exterior. The show included young singers from The Tonicha Lawrence Academy and Lucy Rhodes, who won the title BBC Radio 2 Choirgirl Of The Year in 2002. The festival continues Wednesdays to Sundays until December 19, between noon and 10pm.
