READING about prisoners from Full Sutton prison, near York, complaining that their Argos deliveries are too slow, put me in mind of my own recent experience.
I had ordered a bookcase from Argos. In my innocence and ignorance, I thought, from seeing it in the catalogue, and knowing that there would be a delivery man or men - it would arrive fully assembled. What a shock the ensuing flat-pack was and what a task getting it put together. However, the delivery man was charming and the result is beautiful (and huge! ).
