Ben Drew alias Plan B has already predictably been dubbed the English Eminem. Yes, he is white, his rhymes are controversial and there is a passing resemblance in their delivery.
But surely every young rapper in the world be they black or white has picked up something from Slim Shady in the past seven or so years? On Sick 2 Def, B spits: "I talk so foul, I talk so coarse, I show no regret, I show no remorse."
And true to his word, some of his lyrics really are the strongest stuff. But if you can stand the cussing, there are brilliantly insightful and wickedly funny lines on this debut.
This 21-year-old Londoner may not have the grime of Dizzee Rascal, but his rhymes are easily as hot.
