ARSONISTS set fire to a disused building in the centre of York.
Two fire crews were sent to former Laser Quest site, at the junction of Dennis Street and Piccadilly, at 5.55am on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said it was thought the offenders had deliberately ignited paper and pushed it through gaps in the door to the property.
Firefighters were later sent to a separate suspected arson attack in Acomb, York.
The fire service was alerted to several For Sale property signs being ablaze.
The cause was again said to be deliberate.
