An excellently nostalgic collection of photographs taken from the 1966 World Cup finals most previously unseen.
Coffee-table sized, the hardback book might seem expensive but it is tremendously presented and a perfect, permanent souvenir of English football's finest moment.
Split into five sections the North East, Midlands, North-East, London and the Final with forewords from Bobby Charlton and Franz Beckenbauer, the book offers a fascinating reminder of English football from a bygone era.
There are too many memorable pictures to mention here but my personal favourite is a black-and-white image of Pele being approached for his autograph by a schoolboy in the teeming Lancashire rain at Bolton Wanderers' training ground.
