THIS young pirate was one of many school children that enjoyed a Pirate Fun Day in York.
The day, held at Hob Moor Primary, was also attended by youngsters from Hob Moor Oaks School, Cherry Tree Nursery, Portage, a parent support group for under-fives, and Hob Moor Children Centre.
All those present were part of groups attached to the centre, also known as The House, in Acomb.
Highlights included dancing to the folk melodies of Black Beard’s Tea Party.
Debbie Cousins, head teacher of Hob Moor Primary School, said: “The kids had a great time.
“This sort of day hasn’t happened in the past on such a big scale, so we want to build and develop on this.”
