WORK has begun on the £2.4 million redevelopment of the Scarborough Campus of Hull University.
Students returning to the Filey Road site after the summer holidays will be greeted with a new library, teaching rooms and student accommodation.
Dr Craig Gaskell, dean of the Scarborough Campus, said: “Although the timeframe of this major redevelopment is very challenging, we are confident that when our students arrive in September they will be very impressed.
The Scarborough redevelopment is part of a £10 million upgrade of facilities throughout the University of Hull.
