It's the great misnomer: "Happy Slapping". What is happy about an attack on an innocent victim which is broadcast to a wide audience?
The so-called happy slapping craze involves someone being assaulted while an observer films it on a mobile phone. The resulting video is then transmitted to other phones. Time was when bullying was a shove and a push and a demand for dinner money. It is now a sophisticated, public sport in which the victim's humiliation can be more painful than the assault.
