WHEN assessing the arguments for and against building new nuclear power stations, it is important to take into consideration the credibility of the people making the arguments.
The latest zealot for more nuclear power stations, the Prime Minister Tony Blair, is the man who told us that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction which could be launched against Cyprus within 45 minutes of an order to do so.
We should not have believed him about Iraq and we should not believe him about nuclear power stations.
