EVEN the state-of-the-art satellite tracking system on the new ftr buses will not prevent these vehicles from being caught up in the gridlock on the Heslington Hall roundabout (they seem to experience some difficulty negotiating this 180-degree bend), caused by those ridiculous chicanes on the road towards Fulford.
It's about time these unnecessary monstrosities were removed. They are dangerous and cause much unnecessary pollution, congestion and frustration. Perhaps they're an integral part of City of York Council's master plan, which appears to be to bully drivers out of their own cars, on to very expensive public transport.
