Fancy backing a winner without a penalty? Then don't miss Nap selection Circuit Dancer, one of the North Yorkshire runners at Kempton this evening.

Trained at Sessay near Easingwold by David Nicholls, Circuit Dancer scored cosily at Catterick last week.

Because that success was achieved in an apprentices' race, he escapes a 6lb weight penalty, which would otherwise apply, in tonight's Subscribe To Racing UK Handicap over the same distance of six furlongs.

Previously trained by Alan Berry, and formerly a high-class handicapper, Circuit Dancer had gone through a long losing sequence before his recent victory, and, as a result, has dropped to a very favourable handicap mark.

Silvester de Sousa, a Brazilian jockey who is attached to the Nicholls yard, rode Circuit Dancer well at Catterick and takes the mount again.

Nicholls also has good prospects with Trinculo in the RUK Evening Racing Package For £60 Handicap, which opens the action at Kempton.

The nine-year-old confirmed his well-being when beating King's Gait by a short-head in a fairly competitive handicap at Beverley a fortnight ago. It would be no surprise to see him go in again here.

Johannes, a York winner last season, represents Nicholls in the feature race on the card, the £45,000 Kempton Park Heritage Handicap.

Sure to be all the better for his recent comeback outing in the Free Handicap at Newmarket, Johannes can be expected to give a good account of himself.

But it is difficult to see him finishing in front of Advanced, who was nicely ahead of him at Newmarket when finishing a creditable third to Misu Bond, a runner for Hambleton trainer Bryan Smart in Saturday's 2,000 Guineas.

Trained by Roger Charlton, Advanced is strongly fancied to step up on his latest effort and land this valuable prize.
