A FREE seminar titled Building A Strong Financial Foundation has been organised by Edward Jones Ltd, the York stockbroker and financial adviser, at the Holiday Inn Express, in Shipton Road, Clifton, on Wednesday.
Guest speaker will be Billy Mills, the UK marketing director for Capital International Funds, the world's fourth largest money management company.
Kevin Grogan, the investment representative for Edward Jones Ltd, said: "People lack knowledge about the basics of investing in the stock market and these are good to know at an exciting time in the markets as shares generally are on the rise."
