I'M relieved to see that Lib Dem clowns on City of York Council are really looking after our best interests despite appearances to the contrary.
Forget the fact that they put up the council tax by an excessive amount, disregard the way the super bus and all its connected road alterations are imposed on us, pretend that we don't have pathetic sports and recreational facilities on the south side now that the Barbican project is decided.
We can rest securely in our beds now that these movers and shakers have saved us from Nemo, the fish and chip shop sign in Acomb.
Now that's what I call value for money.
