YORK City can climb above play-off rivals Stevenage Borough tonight by taking full advantage of their game in hand.
A victory at Altrincham will lift City above the fourth-placed Hertfordshire club who are without a match.
The Minstermen are currently sandwiched in between Grays Athletic and Morecambe in the Conference table and both sides are also in action tonight.
Grays travel to mid-table Gravesend while Morecambe play host to second-placed Hereford who need a win to keep alive their outside title ambitions.
At the other end of the table, City's North Yorkshire rivals Scarborough will drop back into the relegation zone if bottom team Tamworth can triumph at home to Aldershot.
Tonight's squads
Altrincham (probable): Coburn, Munroe, Band, Talbot, Adams, Scott, Owen, Aspinall, Peyton, Little, Lugsden. Subs: Thornley, Potts, Murphy, Norton, McFadden.
