After watching York City's match against Accrington, I would like to say what a fantastic performance by the Minstermen.

The first half display was of Coca Cola League One standard. However, all the hard work of the game was blown away by two of the most disgusting refereeing decisions I have witnessed.

There is a saying in Conference football and that's Proctor-Green should never be seen. How I wished he was in charge of another fixture last Saturday. How on earth he could give a penalty to the visitors when the ball clearly struck Price full in the face. To add fuel to the fire he fails to point to the spot when Andy Bishop was just as clearly pushed off the ball in mid-air with the open goal at his mercy.

When there is a big Championship game a Premiership referee is assigned. I truly believe a Football League ref should be in charge of important Conference games.

York City were badly let down by a referee who was simply not up to the big job on the day and got two major decisions so badly wrong.
