Mystery Pips, who scorched home over five furlongs at Southwell last week, returns to the Nottinghamshire track tomorrow with every chance of producing an encore.

Trained at Langton near Malton by Nigel Tinkler, the six-year-old goes for the Corporate Hospitality At Southwell Banded Stakes and will take plenty of catching with Kim Tinkler, the trainer's jockey-wife, again in the saddle.

Mystery Pips ran out a comfortable winner on her latest start, coming home with two lengths to spare over Percy Douglas, who takes her on again tomorrow.

He will do well, however, to turn the tables on the Ryedale mare, who is clearly in excellent form and who is awarded the nap vote.

Stillington trainer David Chapman can also get his name on the scoreboard with Faithisflying in the Racing Again On The 24th Maiden Claiming Stakes.

The mount of Tony Culhane, Faithisflying failed by only one-and-a-quarter lengths to beat the favourite Silsong over a mile last week. It is hoped that this drop back to six furlongs will enable him to go one better.

Darryll Holland, who has been riding in excellent form recently as he prepares for the turf campaign, can work the oracle aboard Mister Aziz in the Experience Nottinghamshire Banded Stakes.

The John Jenkins-trained gelding has been near for several weeks and finished a close-up fourth to Wilford Maverick here on his latest start over seven furlongs. He tries a slightly shorter distance tomorrow in a bid to gain an overdue success.

Tim Easterby, with a big team limbering-up for the turf season, which kicks-off on Thursday, can adopt the winning habit with Silver Nun in the betdirect.co.uk Tri-Banded Stakes.

The three-year-old made an encouraging return to action when chasing home Teddy Monty on this track last week over six furlongs and tomorrow's extra furlong should suit her even better. David Allan again takes the mount.

Over the jumps at Warwick, Elegant Clutter makes ample appeal in the Helen Of Troy Lady Riders' Handicap Hurdle. The eight-year-old, who missed the whole of last term, has returned in good heart and chalked up a win on his second comeback outing on this course nine days ago.
