HELL really hath no fury like a "former pro-police member of the public" caught red handed (Letters, March 1).
Why is it the police who are at fault when RD Watson is caught doing something stupid?
Yes RD Watson we probably have all committed a minor motoring offences and so probably, previously unblemished licence notwithstanding, have you too - and got away with it.
Just be thankful that this time it did not result in a collision and injury or worse.
The road markings are there for a reason; we disregard them at our peril and sometimes at the peril of others. You were in the wrong and were caught out. Get over it !
