Six York and District Leeper Hare Football League premier division fixtures produced an abundance of goals, 37 in total, and leading the way was Huntington's 5-5 home draw with visitors Pocklington.

Huntington were three goals in front before the interval through Graham McDonald (2) and Chris Dyson and, although Pock reduced the deficit, another Dyson strike made it 4-1 to the hosts.

At this point, Pock stormed back with goals from Dave O'Connor to add to his earlier strike, Stuart Lawson (2) and Wayne Johnstone to lead 5-4 but in the dying seconds Iain Dunne snatched an equaliser for Huntington.

Nestl and Thorpe United served up eight goals between them as they drew 4-4 with both sides taking the lead twice. Paul Branscombe and Alan Howard both scored in each half for Nestl while Thorpe's goals came from a brace each from Shaun Pickles and Shane Singleton

Champions Dringhouses, after successive away defeats, won 3-1 at Malton Bacon Factory. A free kick from Craig Atkinson opened the scoring and, though Sam Lander levelled for the Malton side before half-time, two second-half goals from Mark Woodward won the points for Dringhouses.

Old Malton's title challenge took another knock as they suffered their third defeat on the trot despite Dave Bell giving them the early advantage at home to Dunnington.

Three goals from the visitors' top scorer Chris Burgess and a Paul Calkin effort sealed a 4-2 win for Dunnington, their first win in six games. Kartiers stretched their unbeaten run to six games following a 3-2 win at Wigginton with goals from Andy Woodall (2) and James Tweedie. Ben Coates and Terry Taylor replied for Wigginton.

Copmanthorpe avenged the early season defeat to Haxby by winning the return fixture 4-0 with the goals shared between Terry Hibbett, Matty Bastock, Mark Featherstone and Mark Bellah.
