I TOO feel extremely frustrated at the forthcoming dentist legislation ("Mum's frustration as children are charged to get teeth checked", February 8).
I have attended Mr N Mediratta's dental surgery in Tadcaster since 1989 and now feel I have no choice but to join one of the two options he is offering. I rang round 50 dentists within a 50-mile radius of where I live in the hope of at least being added to their endless list of "hopefuls", but not one was taking on anymore patients.
I work part-time as I have a disabled husband and find the new prices out of my reach.
I also have a 19-year-old daughter who is starting university in September. Unfortunately she will have to make her own arrangements as again the prices being charged are also out of her reach.
