I READ your article regarding the Lock family and the charges they had to pay for their children (February 8).
I have just registered my children with another dentist in Acomb and it cost me £30 for each child and then £15 on each visit. Any treatment they require will be extra.
At the moment my husband and I are without a dentist as it would cost us £70 each to register.
I thought that families in receipt of working family tax credit were eligible for free dental treatment. They should not have to pay for expensive treatment. I require such dental treatment, but cannot afford it.
