Copmanthorpe have dealt a massive blow to the Leeper Hare York and District League premier division championship aspirations of Old Malton, as they beat them 2-1 for the second time in seven days.
Duncan Quick gave Cop the lead before Phil Hill equalised but, just as he did last week, Graham Butcher - a week short of his 40th birthday - hit the winner for Cop.
Wigginton's slim hopes took another nosedive as they went down 2-1 at Pocklington, the second time they have been beaten by Pock this season.
Chris Goater gave the hosts the lead but this was cancelled out by a Tom Coates strike before Tom Hoole secured Pock's second home win of the current campaign.
Top team Dringhouses beat Bishopthorpe 4-0 with goals from Lee Bond, Mike Morton, Danny Gray and Mark Woodward, while second-placed Thorpe United beat T & L Selby 5-0.
Alan Jackson started the rout from a free-kick and before the break had added a second, with other goals coming from Shane Singleton and Mick Carmody.
After the interval, Jackson completed his hat-trick as Thorpe extended their unbeaten run to seven games.
Malton Bacon Factory had not won any of the last five meetings with Huntington and the trend continued, with Chris Dyson toe-poking the ball into the net from close range for the only goal of the game.
York St John's goal-scoring secretary Ben Winstanley netted all his side's goals in their 4-1 win at Haxby, taking his tally for the season to 14. David Cruddas replied.
Goals from James Tweedie and Andy Woodall saw Kartiers chalk up their eighth home game without loss as they beat Nestl 2-0.
