HOW much more do we have to hear "help parents with care costs"?

I may be old fashioned, but don't we have children to look after them ourselves? Needs must is different.

Why would mothers want to miss out on the everyday care of their children?

Yes, sometimes it's very tiring and can be boring - this is family life with children. But hearing their first word, seeing the first step is priceless.

If others do not feel guilty that the carers experience this, well they should do.

Maybe throwing wellies in the car with a picnic is not as "street cred" as flying abroad, but it never did my children or my grandchildren any harm.

All this "quality time with my children" is a joke. Working mothers who don't have to are missing so much.
