MOIRA Emmett asks a very interesting question regarding regular contributor Ken Holmes (December 17). Checking my archives Mrs Emmett here is the answer.
The winner of the most prolific published letter writer in 2001 was Ken Holmes with 24 letters. In each of the last three years, it was me.
I wonder who is in line to be crowned this year?
As you are a regular reader you will no doubt be aware of the spat that Mr Holmes and I had regarding Ascot. To his credit Mr Holmes apologised when he realised he had been wrong and that Ascot was a success.
In turn, I hope that Mr Holmes still shops in charity shops in York and does not spend his pension in free-parking Wakefield.
