SAWFISH of York has offered a solution to the needy Nomads of Leeds.

Nomads, a company that offers business support to professionals travelling through Leeds, has approached Sawfish Software Ltd, of King Street, York, to help control its sales processes through a software package called Sales-Flow.

Sales-Flow automates and streamlines lead management activities as well as modelling the key business processes involved in complex selling scenarios.

The order, worth about £5,000, comes as Sawfish is experiencing rapid expansion with up to £750,000 worth of software orders over the past year sparking new recruitment.

Recently employed are a software developer, two new sales people and a marketing executive - bringing the number of Sawfish employees to 15.

Nomads opted for Sawfish's Sales-Flow because all areas of sales activity can be monitored, pipelined and channelled with the ability to organically grow the system to fit in with future requirements.

It works on one database so that managers always have an up-to-date view of sales progress.

Steve Hull, managing director of Sawfish Software, said: "From a standing start we are approaching a turnover of £1million for this financial year with plans to increase to £5million over the next two years.

"Interest has increased dramatically, and we have recently been contacted by major Industry Analysts who are keen to learn more about our solution.

"We are planning to float on AIM within the next six months to realise worldwide potential for our software solution Sales-Flow."
