Jamie Spencer, far from resting on his laurels with his first jockeys' title in the bag, is continuing to ride with all the enthusiasm and flair he showed throughout the summer months, and a trio of winners could well come his way at Lingfield tomorrow.

The Newmarket-based Irishman, who won the final race at Wolverhampton yesterday on Ninth House, can follow-up on Korikancha and Starship in the two divisions of the Betdirect Freephone Maiden Fillies' Stakes, and also aboard Night Warrior in the Daily Offers From Betdirect Claiming Stakes.

The latter, trained by Kevin McAuliffe, has been in cracking form lately, winning his last two starts. A hat-trick is on the cards.

Korikancha by Jeremy Noseda, is trying the Polytrack for the first time in public after one or two promising efforts on turf. She may not need to raise her game by much to open her winning account in her chosen seven-furlongs contest.

Probably even more interesting is Starship, trained by William Haggas, and a promising fifth on her debut on this course six weeks ago.

Ridden on that occasion by Kieren Fallon, this daughter of Galileo shaped with real promise and was still in with a chance of winning when she was impeded by another runner two furlongs out, which effectively stopped her in her run.

With that experience under her belt, Starship should be wiser this time and, granted a clear run, is expected to take plenty of beating. She is awarded the nap vote.

Spencer should enjoy a good ride from Cayman Breeze in the opening Text 'Betdirect' Handicap, but the Milton Bradley-trained sprinter may have to play a supporting role to Hollow Jo, the mount of Micky Fenton, who rode a couple of winners at Wolverhampton yesterday.

At Ludlow, Glory Be is fancied to come out on top in the John Smith's Mares' Only Novices' Hurdle (Qualifier).

The five-year-old ran out a fluent ten-length winner at Leicester two weeks ago and represents trainer Venetia Williams, whose horses are currently in unstoppable form.

Tony Dobbin, who rode the final winner at Doncaster yesterday, travels to Ludlow to team-up with Cassia Heights in the featured £15,000 Tanners Wines Handicap Chase.

The Cumbrian jockey was on board Steve Brookshaw's gelding when he returned to winning form at Leicester last time, beating Good Outlook by a length. A former winner over this course and distance, he should go well.
