AN INTERNATIONAL ice skater showed onlookers how much fun they could have this Christmas at the city's outdoor rink.
Russian Olga Sharutenko marked the opening of The Ice Factor, beneath Clifford's Tower, by wowing crowds with her skating spectacular. She is one of the stars in The Imperial Russian Ice Stars world tour of The Sleeping Beauty On Ice.
The attraction opened to the public today, from 10am until 10.15pm and will stay in the city until January 8.
There is also a heated rink-side caf and bar area. The rink, created by Preston-based Chiller Rental Service, is one of about 12 the company has built around the country.
