THE hearings regarding the two abandoned matches involving York Acorn ARLC will be held tomorrow.

Acorn's National Conference League division one game away to Castleford Lock Lane last month was stopped after 67 minutes due to a brawl, and their subsequent home match against Hunslet Warriors was curtailed following abuse of the referee from sections of the crowd, believed to be from the visiting contingent.

Acorn were leading both games and have been provisionally awarded the points from the Lock Lane match as rules state if a match goes beyond 65 minutes, the result stands. No points have yet been awarded from the Warriors game.

Meanwhile, Heworth may be dragged back towards the re-election dogfight in division two without even throwing a ball.

Bottom side Featherstone Lions have organised an emergency meeting tonight to determine whether to keep a side in the Conference.

They have suffered two successive relegations, have struggled to get sufficient players and have just one win from nine games this term.
