ON Sunday, October 30, I went to the National Railway Museum, in York, to see the anniversary of The Railway Children being performed by two people in only half an hour.
It was very well done, quickly and with humour. All the young children joined in and I'm sure understood everything.
When the male actor said they hadn't any money for Mr Perks on his birthday one child called out "from the bank" and another said "ask your granddad!"
All are to be congratulated for a happy afternoon.
