EASINGWOLD 'A' showed their true colours in beating Rawcliffe 6-2 in the York FA Junior Minor Cup.
Their goals were scored by Chris Brown (2), Jordan Brown (2), Spencer Brown and Danny Green. Dunnington took the lead over Pickering Town when a 40-yard shot by Chris Grant took a vicious bounce over the Pickering goalkeeper then Tom Connell's acute angled shot made it 2-0.
The young Pikes fought to force the game into extra time at 3-3, but Jason Nattrass clinched Dunnington's victory with a great shot. Dunnington's man of the match was midfielder Alex Smith.
Tadcaster Albion shook off a two-goal deficit to steam past Carr Vikings 6-2 in the York FA Acaster Steel Cup.
On target for Albion were Jonathan Maxted (penalty), Curtis Turner (2), Steven Brown (2) and a cracking shot from outside the penalty area from Michael Whittlestone.
It was the same story as Nestl Rowntree trailed Haxby 2-0 to goals by Luke Bamber and Karl Knowles
Thorpe United saw off York College 4-2 with goals by Ryan Mitchell, Oliver Brown, Joe Langton and a header from Jake Taylor. Rowntrees drew level thanks to Matthew Hattee and Shane Tomlinson and powered through after the interval with goals by George Catling (3) and Kieran Flanagan.
A Ryan Atkinson hat-trick led the way for Poppleton in their rain-lashed 5-3 win over Brooklyn.
