York City Ladies Under-14s came from behind to beat Rothwell Town 3-1 in the RAF-sponsored West Riding Girls Football League.
York fell behind against the run of play after just eight minutes but it was business as usual 13 minutes later with striker Lauran Haigh getting her second goal in as many games.
The second half started with goalkeeper Jessica Tucker going off after a second bang to the head, with Shona Allardice taking over in goal. The change mattered little as Gen Wells scored her fifth goal in three games to put York ahead and Nicole Schofield got the third with the last kick of the game.
York entertain lowly Garforth Villa at Oaklands School on Sunday (ko 1.30pm).
