POCKLINGTON showed great powers of recovery in their York FA Under 15s Minor Cup home tie against Dunnington.
The visitors took an early lead but Pocklington showed great determination to battle back strongly with two goals each from Aiden Marshall, Connor Swanborough and David Phelan to record an 6-1 impressive victory.
Easingwold came out on top in a ten- goal thriller against Thorpe United when winning 6-4.
The Easingwold scorers were George Elliott (3), Ben Stoker (2) and Gregg Wilsden in a game full of attacking intent.
