REAL Cliffe produced a stirring fightback in their York FA Under 14s Minor Cup tie against Heworth.
Goals from Declan Marlarkey and Jack Gabitass gave Heworth a 2-0 lead. Ten minutes into the second half Michael Brown reduced the arrears with a well placed header and with five minutes left netted the equaliser. There was still time for Brown to complete his hat-trick with an injury time winner.
Brooklyn were always on top in their 5-0 win against Dunnington with goals from Cooke (3), Reece Crowe and Thomas Audsley.
Thorpe defeated Nestl Rowntree 7-0 with the goals shared by Byron Summers, Ashley Wragg, Danny Montgomery, Garry Chapman, Alex Webster, Simon Baker and Will McVitea.
