Centre Leigh Rientoul was the star as North Yorkshire Service Area under-18s turned the tables on South Yorkshire with a 42-12 win at Heworth.
He scored two tries, set up a third and goaled two to fire up a North Yorkshire revenge mission after losing to the South side last year.
First to score was captain Tom Hodgson with a 70-metre solo effort, converted by Steven Mackley.
Jack Goodacre added a second after good work by Tim Elliott and Lee Acaster down the left, and prop Jack Stearman got the third after a Liam Gargan pass, Mackley adding both goals before going off injured.
Rientoul began his scoring with an 80-metre try which Hodgson goaled, and got his second and added the extras himself. He then found Thomas Hill from a Gargan pass, who accelerated to the line.
South Yorkshire offered two late converted tries but the hosts had the last say as a kick from stand-off Gargan was hacked on and gathered by Hodgson, who added the conversion.
North Yorkshire are next in action on November 9 against Wakefield at Castleford Lock Lane, ko 7.30pm.
