OUSEBURN'S goal difference improved significantly after they hammered Stillington 16-1 in their Leeper Hare York and District Football League Reserve 'C' fixture.

Their goals were shared between Andrae Quasari (4), Tim Spakouaks (3) Chris Metcalfe (3) Andy Carter (2) Liam Croft, Nicky Bramley, Noel McCall and Graham Phillips. Graham Morrison hit Stillington's lone reply.

In the corresponding week-end last year, Stillington Reserves were beaten 16-0 in the York FA Cup - by Ouseburn's first team.

Heworth recorded the first win in ten games after winning 5-0 at Civil Service, with two goals each for Andy Cooper and Ian Walbridge and a goal from John Bruce.

Riccall have replaced Heworth at the bottom as they were beaten 2-0 at Norwich Union where James Hutt scored in each half.

Huby's poor home form continued as they were beaten for the sixth consecutive game going down 3-2 at home to LNER Builders. Andy Tute scored twice for the Builders aided by a Lee Jefferson effort with Huby's goals coming from Steve Brogan and Richard Webster.
