Ian Barber has been appointed Skipton's financial adviser for Scarborough and Malton. He has previously worked for CIS and St James's Place.
Mr Barber, said: "I am looking forward to providing a high level of advice and the benefits of whole of market advice to clients of Skipton Financial Services."
David Tidswell, regional manager, said: "He will be an asset to our team, which already has an enviable reputation for providing quality financial advice."
