HAVING read the letter by CA McGall (October 31) and the challenging time they faced travelling through York at half term, I really felt sorry for them.
It must be truly awful to go through life burdened by such a pathological hatred of people in general (and children in particular).
With this in mind, all parents should, of course, ensure they keep their children safely shut away at home in future, to minimise the obvious distress caused to this person by their presence around town.
Should this fail to happen, the poor soul might be forced to retreat to a remote island in the Outer Hebrides for a week until the little monsters are back under control.
That would be such a shame.
